About eBRC
eBRC is a workspace and an API that help Indian exporters generate their electronic bank realisation certificates through the DGFT. It is a product of Eximfiles.
What we do
An Electronic Bank Realisation Certificate is the DGFT-issued proof that an export payment was received and realised in India. Exporters need it to claim RoDTEP and duty drawback, to stay compliant under FEMA, and to support GST refunds on the export of services. Since the DGFT revamped the system in November 2023 the certificate is self-certified: banks transmit each inward remittance to the DGFT electronically, and the exporter generates the certificate by matching that remittance to the shipping bill, SOFTEX or invoice it pays for.
That matching is the work, and it is what eBRC removes. You connect a DGFT account once. Inward remittances then arrive in the app on their own, each carrying its status. You map a remittance to the paperwork it belongs to and submit, one at a time in a short wizard or a whole spreadsheet at once. The certificate usually comes back in about two hours, as a PDF, with a number you can copy and a ledger you can export.
The same capability is available to platforms as a REST API, so a marketplace, a customs broker or a fintech can generate certificates for its own customers without any of them leaving its product. Each customer connects their own DGFT account and files as themselves.
What we are not
We are not the DGFT and we are not affiliated with it. Every eBRC is issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade; a certificate generated here is the same DGFT-issued certificate, with the same standing, as one generated on the DGFT portal directly. We prepare and submit filings on your instruction, under a mandate you grant once and can withdraw at any time. Nothing is filed unless you file it. Who it is for
Exporters filing their own certificates, enterprises filing at volume across several entities, and platforms filing on behalf of their customers. The eBRC exporter app is free at any volume, with no certificate limit and no paid tier for exporters, and it collects no card at sign-up. The API is a separate product with its own published limits, which never apply to the eBRC exporter app.

eBRC is operated by Dreamfuel Technologies Private Limited, registered at AshaYog Unit 104, Vijaya Nagar Colony, Pune 411030, India, together with its affiliate Eximtech Inc. Eximfiles is the brand these products are published under. For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the data fiduciary is Dreamfuel Technologies Private Limited, as set out in our privacy policy.
